Please stop the military coup happening right now in Myanmar.

What the petition asks

The democratically elected leaders including State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi, President Win Myint along with senior government officials, and the members of parliament have been detained by the military.
Historically UK Government has been extensively involved in Myanmar that pre-dated its independence. Your help along with other members of the UN in needed to draw attention to these very recent events.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

Impose sanctions on Myanmar due to the military coup.
