Create a Children's Covid Lockdown Hero Award
Rejected
19 signatures
What the petition asks
Give all UK children a special lockdown hero award for their understanding, resilience and patience during the 2020/2021 Covid 19 Lockdowns.
Everyone has suffered during Covid, but we believe that our children have suffered more than most. Childhood is short, and should be full of experience. They are missing their friends, their classrooms, playing football down the park, hanging out on a weekend with the other kids from their street/village and they are not able to rationalise it the same way that adults can. Let's give all of the children of covid special recognition for them to share with their families in generations to come.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do by 'creating an award'.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
