What the petition asks
As someone who has seen an enormous amount of online trolling/abuse I believe we can help try to put a stop to this and help prevent more people using social media in a negative way. I believe if social media platforms required an ID from users this would definitely help.
People should not be aloud to hide behind a computer screen, while being allowed to attack individuals. If your held to account for your actions in every other area of society why are you aloud to get away with it online?
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
