All social media accounts should be verified by an ID

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

As someone who has seen an enormous amount of online trolling/abuse I believe we can help try to put a stop to this and help prevent more people using social media in a negative way. I believe if social media platforms required an ID from users this would definitely help.
People should not be aloud to hide behind a computer screen, while being allowed to attack individuals. If your held to account for your actions in every other area of society why are you aloud to get away with it online?

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

You may wish to sign this petition calling for the same action: Make it compulsory to submit ID on social
media to help end online abuse.
