What the petition asks
Introduce the harmful environmental effects of plastic waste to the curriculum of schools and colleges to ensure that pupils have in-depth understanding of environmental issues caused by plastic.
35 million plastic bottles are used each day in Britain, and unfortunately less than half are recycled

Todays society relies on throw away plastic, it is harming the only planet suitable for human life, I believe if people are taught what this material is doing to the earth, it will change their behaviour into a more sustainable, eco friendly lifestyle and will pass on their knowledge onto others.
The problem currently is most people don’t realise how serious this situation is, or are ignorant to it.
The more people learn about this topic, the better it will be for the future of the human race.
