Increase the school start age from 5 to 6 as of Sept 2021.

What the petition asks

By increasing the school start age from 5 to 6, all children under the current circumstances will repeat their current school year, so that they can bridge the education that they have missed. Also for the missed transition to secondary school, SATS, early years transition.
This will be for the mental/educational well-being of all children, particularly for the vulnerable who will definitely have been effected by lack of/reduced learning for almost a year!

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

All pupils to repeat this current academic year.
