What the petition asks
The UK Government must honour the NI Protocol agreed with the EU which is designed to preserve peace in Ireland and avoid a hard land border.
Any barriers to trade should be resolved through dialogue with EU and not by triggering Article 16.

We want Government to protect hard won peace in NI and resolve any trade issues without triggering Article 16 and thereby risking a hard land border in Ireland.
