Public enquiry into the handling of COVID and the policy changes needed now.

Rejected 14 signatures

What the petition asks

Set up a public enquiry to investigate policy and execution in relation to:
1) timing and extent of lockdowns
2) provision of functioning test, trace and supported isolation services
3) border controls
4) roll-out of vaccination
5) public messaging.
Of the 152 countries whose COVID data are regularly reported, the UK has the third worst COVID death toll per million of population.

Britain has some of the world's best scientists -- many of whom believe that government policy is to blame for this appalling record.

A change in policy is needed now to reduce the death toll in 2021; we need to examine the lessons that can be learned while there is still time to save lives.
