Remove emergency powers that enable the Government to implement lockdowns

What the petition asks
I call for legislation to remove emergency powers for the Government to implement lockdowns under any circumstance. This would mean that existing legislation cannot be used to impose lockdowns for reasons of public health or any other type of emergencies.
The rights of assembly, association and property rights must never be sacrificed for public health.
In the wake of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, the Government resorted to the use of lockdowns as an attempt to curtail the spread of the virus with the aim of curtailing the spread. The lifting of lockdowns is presented as being conditional on case numbers and hospitalisations going down.
These lockdowns represent an egregious violation of basic civil liberties and human rights, most notably but not limited to: right of assembly and protest, property rights and freedom to socialise.
