Offer the smear test to over-16s

What the petition asks

I would like cervical screening (smear tests) to be offered to people who are 16 and over, not over 25 as it is currently. Smear tests can change lives but not enough lives, and can reassure people that everything is good for them.
Many young women would want a smear test to stop them from stressing and ensure they are 100% safe, but due to smear tests being available to only 25 and over they are unable to do this. I am 20 years of age and would want a smear test to ensure I am safe as people can suffer with symptoms before getting diagnosed or have no symptoms at all.
