Do not cut school holidays or extend the school day

What the petition asks
Students who have kept up with their home learning and have met the criteria for what they would have learned by the end of the academic year, should not be required to attend a summer camp or spend more time at school “catching up” on what they have already learned.
Students who have kept up with our work should not have our time wasted and holidays cancelled to learn about the curriculum we have covered and others have not. Students, who are on the verge of taking GCSE options will not accept re-taking an entire year of subjects, when many have been counting the days until they can drop them. Students shouldn’t be forced to redo an entire year because as a result, mental health many worsen and many may simply refuse to attend school.
