What the petition asks
Within UK borders, vulnerable young people are being forced to endure torture under the guise of pornography- these images and videos are later used to blackmail these young people, how can anyone consent to such things
The government should make it a criminal offence to Produce, Posses or view such images of torture and abuse of any persons for any reason
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
We understand you're concerned about pornography which includes elements of torture. However the production or possession of such pornography could already be an offence under the Obscene Publications Act: https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1964/74. It is therefore not clear what you would like the Government to do.
You could start a petition calling on publications featuring torture to be explicitly defined as "obscene" in the Obscene Publications Act, if that is something you'd like to happen.
