What the petition asks

Stop Newham council going ahead with new emission based permit charges. Newham residents are already struggling to make ends meet with this extra charges we will be struggling more.we being one of the poorest borough in England should not be Financially hit along with the ulez charges in 2021

Having these emission charges will impact many poor families in Newham that are struggling. There has not been a proper consultation taken place before this emission charges were introduced. Residents were not made aware of any consultation and based on a vote by the local councillors a decision has been made to introduce these permit charges. We demand that Newham Council seizes the emission based permit charges and have a proper postal vote before anything like this is introduced in Newham
