What the petition asks

We would like the summer holidays for all school children to be reduced to 3weeks.

6 weeks off in the summer is unnecessary, it's an amazingly difficult time for many families to arrange childcare and work their jobs.
The children themselves are bored after a few weeks and longing for the return of their routine.
Particularly at present it will allow for extra learning that has been missed during the current pandemic.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
