Shireoaks needs speed humps

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Shireoaks is a small village in Nottinghamshire and speeding is a major issue in our village.
It’s a 30mph limit but nothing gets done in regards to speeding measures. Every single day do people come through our village going in excess of 40-50mph.
Our local councillors will do nothing in the subject of speeding and we all presume that it will take someone to get killed before anything gets done which is too late!
They say the roads aren’t big enough with is absolute nonsense as the next village along being Thorpe salvin has even small roads but still have speed humps.
We had a vehicle crash last night because the driver was travelling at around 50mph.
