Stop Sadiq Khan's proposed boundary charge into Greater London
Rejected
21 signatures
What the petition asks
Sadiq Khan is proposing a boundary charge of up to £5.50 per day to cross the boundary into Greater London. This means that those living in the London Fringe and working in Greater London will incur additional charges, which soon add up. It will also impact visitors coming in to the area.
I would like the government to drop this scheme and support those who are bringing money and services to the area through working here. You should be encouraging people to travel into the capital, not drive them out.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government aren't responsible for the issue you raise. This is a matter for the London Assembly and the London Mayor.
