What the petition asks
Give all those who 16-65 who have not already been vaccinated, but receive a annual flu vaccine due to underlying health conditions, priority to the Covid-19 vaccine.
Give all for people 16- 65 who are judged at moderate risk (clinically vulnerable) from Covid-19 to be given increased priority in the Covid-19 vaccination programme, just as they are for the annual flu vaccination. They are prioritised due to significantly increased risk of respiratory complications if infected with the flu and should therefore have priority to the vaccine. By the government's own definitions they are clinically vulnerable and at significantly higher risk than the general population, as such, they should be vaccinated as a priority group not with the rest of the population, which is sadly where many of the people in this group have been placed.
