Enable Dental Care Professionals to claim an NHS pension

What the petition asks
Enable Dental Care Professionals in mixed NHS and Private practices to claim an NHS pension and staff number.
Although not directly employed by the NHS, many DCP's carry out up to 80% NHS work. We are not entitled to any pension associated with carrying out the work. Allowing us an NHS staff number and superannuation contributions will help greatly with recruitment and retention of staff. 18 years ago the legislation changed to allow non clinical staff in GP practices the option to opt in to the NHS pension scheme - why not allow us the same??
