What the petition asks
We’re calling on the Government to reintroduce the Eat Out To Help Out Scheme once lockdown ends and provide further support to help the hospitality industry weather the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
According to Public Health England’s data, the hospitality industry is responsible for only 3% of covid transmissions. Because these venues went above and beyond the regulations.
The hospitality industry makes up around 10% of employment in this country, this is millions of jobs and billions of income for the economy.
They are facing the hardest professional and personal challenges ever and need the support to be able to rebuild their business.
