What the petition asks
Adult/Sex Toys are considered prohibited when selling these items online. This means you can’t sell on certain sites, use certain payment methods or advertise on social media platforms. These items are being put in the same category as gambling, drugs & alcohol, escort services.
Adult/Sex Toys should be placed in the same categories as self care, vitamins, health and well-being.
How can we promote healthy sexual awareness and positivity when sex toys are seen in this manner?
Not only is this a negative approach but it makes it difficult for any business in this industry to survive. If you can not advertise or use sites like Amazon to sell your items, then you are swimming against the tide.
Parliament need to review this rule and relax regulations on Adult/Sex Toys.
