Introduce a Universal Basic Income in the next Budget

What the petition asks
Implement Universal Basic Income of £1,041/month (£12,500/year) into the next Budget
GDP went down 9.9% in 2020, the worst contraction since 1709. The percentage of those in the UK considered to be in "deep poverty" has risen to 7%, the redundancy rate was up to 14.2 per thousand in the three months to Nov 2020, and unemployment has risen to 5.1%.
It is about time we have a Universal Basic Income tackle the growing poverty and economic contractions hurting those at the bottom, and we must make sure we ensure it is implemented in the next budget.
