What the petition asks

We, the undersigned, are appalled at the British Government’s inaction over the EU’s recent decision to apply unfair restrictions on the import of certain British agricultural and fisheries products, which is doing untold damage to British fishermen and agricultural producers.

As such, we call upon the Government to implement strict controls on EU agricultural and fisheries products that do not meet the highest of UK standards and, should that fail to have effect, we further call upon the Government to implement a complete ban on the import of EU agricultural and fisheries products as a consequence.
