Create a fund for e-fuel technology research and deployment

What the petition asks

Petrol cars produced after 2011 can run on e-fuel 10 (E10) which is just as clean as electric cars. We ask the Government to invest in this technology as a way of giving consumers the choice between full electric and conventional cars which could be made low-carbon using e-fuel.
If the cost of producing low-carbon e-fuels can be reduced sufficiently through research and development, we may not need to ban petrol cars which the Government has committed to.
