Petition · past parliament

The day after UK nightclubs reopen should be a national bank holiday.

Rejected 15 signatures

What the petition asks

It's simple, lockdown has been tough, everyone is going to want to go out but not everyone can call in sick or take a day off.
People will need to celebrate and blow off steam. It's been a hard year and both hospitality workers and paying customers deserve a full day to recover.
Great for the economy, saves everyone from having meetings hungover, we all need a few more summer bank holidays as well, why should August and May have all the fun.
