What the petition asks
ANGLOPHOBIA IS ROOTED IN RACISM AND IS A TYPE OF RACISM THAT TARGETS EXPRESSIONS OF ENGLISHNESS OR PERCEIVED ENGLISHNESS
Parliament has already voted on a definition of Islamophobia, but never sought to affirm the rights of the indigenous population. At the same time, English culture and tradition are being challenged for ideological and political reasons. Parliament needs to reaffirm that it's actually OK to be English, and to combat this assault on our ethnicity
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
