What the petition asks
We are calling on Westminster to suspend the sitting parliament at Holyrood
The minority administration at Holyrood has been embroiled in sleaze and failure for too long public funds have been mismanaged and we now have almost every area of public life caught up in one party politics, Enough is enough we are asking suspend Holyrood for a period of 12 months audit every aspect of it and return it to a fairer system that works for all and not just SNP/Independence supporters
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Returning devolved powers would be a decision for the people of Scotland, rather than the UK Government or Parliament. You could start a new petition calling for an action that's the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament, for example calling for a referendum in Scotland on ending devolution and returning powers to the UK Government and Parliament, if that's something you want to happen.
