What the petition asks

We would like a separate priority group to be created for teachers to be vaccinated and put them in the highest priority group out of the existing unvaccinated groups prior to schools opening

Schools are reopening and teachers are unprotected making their workplace an unsafe and high risk environment. They are putting their lives at risk as they have to sit in enclosed spaces with large groups of people, unlike any other industry. There has been a large proportion of mortality and morbidity

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
