Reopen Parliament fully on 8/3/21 to all MPs not clinically extremely vulnerable

Rejected 13 signatures

What the petition asks

Since schools are being told to open as normal on March 8th with no distancing, ventilation or staggered attendance, MPs should also return to work. Of course mask use is permitted. Clinically extremely vulnerable MPs need not attend.

We must get MPs back to work at this crucial time.
There is no reason why what is good for the goose should not be good for the gander.
MPs are our leaders and must lead from the front.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

MPs can already attend the House of Commons, but whether they do so is up to individual MPs.

Arrangements for remote participating means that MPs can take part in some business virtually. If you want these arrangements to be restricted to MPs who are clinically extremely vulnerable we could accept a petition requesting this.
