Provide a pension for Retireing Military Working animals
Rejected
12 signatures
What the petition asks
Retireing Military Working animals should receive a pension to help towards ongoing or future veterinary care and any costs associated with finding them a retirement home
Review and change the current procedure for Retireing animals from the Military. Have a Government body who deals solely with the welfare and funding of animals being released from the Military.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. Animals aren't able to receive pensions, but you could start a new petition calling for increase funding to support retired military animals, if that's something you'd like to see happen.
