Make household bonfires illegal

What the petition asks

Make household bonfires illegal. They are anti social, especially on warm, sunny days when we have our windows open and have washing on the line. Bonfires can also be a major health concern to those suffering with asthma, COPD, and more recently, lung conditions caused by Covid-19.
Nowadays we can have high levels of pollutants in the atmosphere, which makes the lives of those living with serious lung conditions a misery. Since Covid, there are more and more people living with these conditions and household fires can exacerbate their discomfort and maybe even cause life threatening results.
