change the law on pitbull breeds in the uk

Rejected 18 signatures

What the petition asks

we had BOTH our dogs taken and seized from us a few days ago, because they have a bit of pit in them, they wasnt interested that they had around 4 crosses, making them mongerals and not pit bulls. Our dogs wasnt reported, nor have they done anything wrong for them to be taken away from our family.
a law made in 1991 putting bullbreeds lives at big risk. Eager to please loving and intelligent, just a few words used to describe this “breed”.“pitbull” is not a breed of dog but a type of dog eg spaniel. crossing together any breed of dog commonly a bully breed such as a staffy. Responsible ownership prevents dog bites breeds do not predict behaviours.his law needs to be changed to protect our dogs lives. https://www.avma.org/resources/pet-owners/why-breed-specific-
