Allow university students to return home for the Easter Holiday

What the petition asks
Students who had to return to university on exceptional grounds (no access to the resources required to work, mental and physical health purposes) are now not allowed to go home over Easter and had no idea that this would be a condition of their return when they requested it. Let us go home.
Students returning under exceptional circumstances should not be penalised at a later date by measures they had no idea would be implemented when asking to return. How does preventing students from returning home to their families, if they so wish, encourage positive mental or physical well-being?
Students can be tested before returning home as they were tested when returning to university. This careful move of a small number of students back home carries much less risk than sending around 8.8 million children back to school.
