To force Social Media Companies to have Photo I.D. verification on every account

What the petition asks
The Government need to force all social media platforms to make it mandatory to have a social media account verified using Photo I.D., if no verification then they are unable to post messages.
We see the rise of racial abuse on social media, every day there seems to be a footballer on twitter sharing screenshots of the horrible abuse they receive from racists. It's too easy for them to hide behind new secret accounts.
Having Photo I.D. verification stops the hiding, in turn will help towards stopping the hateful messages people receive over social media, not just footballers and not just racial abuse. It's all forms and it needs to stop immediately.
