Add Yoga to the School Curriculum

What the petition asks
Other nations already have Yoga in their curriculum based on the outcomes of evidence-based researches. The government allows schools to choose their PE curriculum but a very handful of schools have Yoga teachers and resources. Hence we need support from the government.
Yoga doesn't belong to any race or religion. It is important to provide this vital tool as a learning opportunity for every single child at school to benefit from long-term outcomes. If children are not exposed to Yoga in their young days, it can be difficult to learn in their adulthood. It is important to inculcate this vital life-improving activity for children to start practising yoga from a young age as a mandatory lesson at school. This could yield long term benefits and help avoid mental illnesses.
