Take action on the youth mental health crisis
Rejected
13 signatures
What the petition asks
Review the efficacy of Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and pledge that every child in need of mental healthcare will recieve it through the NHS within a month or otherwise the minimum recommended time by professionals. Establish an Early Intervention program for emerging health issues.
The mental healthcare crisis is now a deep rooted issue that can only be addressed by radical funding and action. Despite promises, nothing at CAMHS has fundamentally changed since the (non ringfenced) £1.4 billion in funding was provided in 2015 and was spent to backfill cuts to other areas.
