Remove the Northern Ireland Executive and have a NI Assembly election.

What the petition asks
We want the Government to force the Northern Ireland to have a Northern Ireland Assembly election at the earliest opportunity.
The Northern Ireland executive has totally mishandled the coronavirus pandemic in Northern Ireland with party political infighting, illogical compromises and most recently publishing an exit from lockdown with no indicative dates. This means that business and jobs in NI, education in NI, health and mental well being continue to suffer under lockdown with no end in sight. The lack of indicative dates is the latest of many scandals during this pandemic which means this government must go.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. This would be a decision for the Northern Ireland Executive and the Assembly, not the UK Government or Parliament.
