What the petition asks

The NHS has, without a doubt, carried us through the pandemic. It’s wonderful staff have been under unimaginable strain- they put themselves at mental and physical risk every single day. A 1% pay rise is NOT the way to recognise this sacrifice. Claps do not pay the bills.
