Plant more flowers “everywhere” to support the bees.

What the petition asks
Plant more flowers, ones which attract pollinating insects anywhere and everywhere which has plain soil, around the borders of any grassy/plain soil areas, either side of public walk paths where there is grassy/plain soil, roundabouts, road sides, motorways, empty fields, etc.
Bees are exhausted, they travel for miles and miles searching for food/flowers. When i walk out my front door I see concrete and bricks for miles and miles. I would really like to see more flowers everywhere, wherever they can be planted specifically to support butterflies and bees, as we all know they have an important role. The Earth looks more beautiful and healthy with colour, more flowers means more energy for the bees, the less they have to travel the easier they will thrive.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Planting flowers is a matter for individual local authorities and private landowners, not the Government or House of Commons.
We could accept a petition calling for the Government to provide funding to support increased planting to support bees, if that's something you would like to see happen.
