Give NHS Staff a meaningful Payrise to show that their work is worth the risk

Rejected 12 signatures

What the petition asks

Nurses are being offered a 1% payrise which is insulting giving the current situation with the Covid-19 Pandemic, We (the Public) want the government to offer a MINIMUM of 12.5% payrise to the nurses of the NHS, they are risking their lives to protect others.
We, the public, want the Government to recognise that the NHS are consistantly saving lives, recognise that without the NHS Staff saving lives daily, the economy would without doubt fall, recognition of the hard work is paramount and to offer just 1% is insulting. The Government are happy to bailout banks, the unemployed and other businesses that benefit the system but the staff of the NHS are being negelcted, recognition and recompense is very much needed. just do the right thing!
