Illegally ban the sale of Single use plastic bags
Rejected
15 signatures
What the petition asks
The average household uses 300 plastic bags per year. Not only do they get into our ocean and kill animals, when decaying the toxins from the bags enter out soil and land. Reports also say they contribute to greenhouse gases from its production to its decaying.
I want the government to ban the sale of single use plastic bags and only allow the sell of reusable bags. In a time where climate change is a urgent matter this is a must in order to save species and our planet
