What the petition asks
Pay each eligible NHS worker an extra tax-free sum of £2,000 by October 2021.
Although the government finances may not yet support a substantial pay rise for NHS staff, their commitment and sacrifice during the covid pandemic deserves special recognition in the form of a one off tax-free payment to each eligible individual.
