What the petition asks

The government should immediately review the 1% pay rise for NHS staff. The amount awarded is an insult to the brave men and women who have worked through this pandemic. Without them we as a country would have crumbled.

The NHS should be awarded a pay rise well above the normal rate. The whole nation realise the pivotal role they have and still are providing this country and its citizens. It is about time the government realised this and done something about it right now.

Why it was rejected
