Allow E-scooters and Electric Skateboards in cycle lanes and on roads

What the petition asks
E-scooters and electric skateboards should be legalised for use on public roads and bike lanes. Essentially, they should have the same rights that bikes have.
Currently it is illegal to ride e-scooters or electric skateboards in public places which deters many people from buying them.
Not everyone wants to ride bikes, and allowing these modes of transport to be used would allow bike lanes to be utilized more effectively and would reduce congestion on busy roads.
E-scooters are also quintessential with tourism and companies could gives tours of cities using them. This could attract tourists into cities and be good for the economy.
