Repeal provisions for Community Treatment Order

What the petition asks
Evidence has shown that Community Treatment Orders, provided for by Section 17a of the Mental Health Act 2007, Black African and Caribbean individuals are eight times more likely to be placed on an order. We believe this is discriminatory, and CTOs should be abolished.
CTOs can reinforce the wider disadvantage and discrimination to which Black communities are subject.
