With the US Department of Defense acknowledging in 2020 that aerial phenomena observed in official Navy videos remain "unidentified", the subsequent establishment of an Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force and the director of National Intelligence and the Secretary of Defense having to provide the Congressional Intelligence and Armed Services Committees with an unclassified report about "UAP” this year, the UK government must also take this subject seriously, as a National Security issue.
