What the petition asks

To help with current supply & demand on processing chips, I would like the UK Government to Ban all & any use for Scalpers/Automated Bots that target New products that can be brought & resold for "vast profits" in the electronics industry. this would be to businesses and individuals alike.

I would like the Government to take action on this subject as this is a global problem & one that is not going to get any better any time soon. Currently prices on computing components, gaming consoles have more than tripled on price due to these programs being run freely allowing people that use it to buy stock before the normal consumer has a chance, therefore allowing placing like Ebay to sell at a much higher MSRP. For Example a GPU RTX 3070 original msrp = £469 resold on Ebay for £900 - £2k

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
