Allow Full Self Driving (FSD) vehicle testing in the UK.

What the petition asks
Many people like myself own Tesla vehicles that have software that allows the car to drive itself under supervision and maintaining control at all times. Relax legislation to allow full self drive testing. NHTSA data shows 1 accident every 449,000 miles, Tesla autopilot 1 in every 4.59million miles.
Legislation is hindering the future of transport in the UK and the government needs to allow testing to be carried out in order to keep up with future innovation. The government "now" has the ability to change this and help the UK be in the forefront of transport and technology.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you want to see changes to the rules regarding driverless cars, but we're not sure exactly what you mean by "testing", or how you'd like existing laws to be changed.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
