Extend coverage of the UK's Hong Kong Visa Scheme, devise BNO citizenship plan

What the petition asks
The current visa scheme only covers those born before the transfer of Hong Kong to China. Discuss the extension of this scheme to all citizens of Hong Kong, and devise a clear plan that spells out the route to citizenship of BNO (British national overseas) passport holders.
The People's republic of China has reneged on its promise of "one country, two systems", a condition of the transfer of Hong Kong. Few people will willingly leave without their younger family members. If the UK Government is serious about its role as a dynamic 'Global Britain', it should extend a hand to those whose democratic freedoms it guaranteed. These people are in need, not to mention skilled and wealthy. A clear path to citizenship is needed to provide certainty and initiate immigration.
