What the petition asks
Introduce legislation to ban the use of pets as prizes for fair prizes, such as goldfish.
Animals used as prizes are subjected to significant stress due to the significant amount of noises at these events and are then often given to people without the correct setup or knowledge to care for them.
Animals used as prizes are subjected to significant stress due to the significant amount of noises at these events and are then often given to people without the correct setup or knowledge to care for them.
By banning this practice, it will help to ensure the welfare of these animals and should result in less abandonment in larger animals that may be used, such as dogs or cats.
