Immediately remove Dame Cressida Dick as Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police
Rejected

What the petition asks
To either remove or demand the immediate resignation of Dame Cressida Dick as Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police in response to her disgraceful handling of recent events.
On The Metropolitan Police website, they claim “our vision for the Met is to be the most trusted police service in the world.” The events of recent months have shown The Met has tarnished that trust of the people of London and beyond.
The Commissioner should take absolute responsibility for the mishandling of The Met and should be held to account accordingly. For there to be any chance of the people rebuilding trust in the police, there should be new leadership and a new direction.
