Fund a dedicated hotline for reporting harassment and provide advice
Closed
251 signatures
What the petition asks
Set up a hotline through government funding or in partnership with public services staffed by advisors who are trained to give advice and work with victims to report criminal behaviour. This could help to protect women from their harassers and abusers, whilst lowering unreported cases.
To support those who have already taken steps in ensuring harassment is treated as a crime. We are told women hold the problem, this should not be tolerated and change is needed. Every woman has their own story, and something needs to be done sooner rather than later.
